“Near in the Distance 2” is an audiovisual networked and interactive show where musicians, dancers and visual artists, are in different locations around the globe -Barcelona, Vienna, London, New York, Berlin and Linz- and they combine to represent in a virtual way and in real time, a unique production.

Dancer Victoria Macarte will establish a duo from Barcelona with dancer Yi Tzu Lee in Nantou – Taiwan, with the music played live between Prague (Ivan Vokac.Cello, Jan Mracek.Violin y Lukas Klansky.Piano) and Miami (Andrew Larson.Cello)
EVD58 is a networked dance piece, taking place simultaneously in 3 distant countries, Brazil, Spain and Mexico, with performers interacting in real time via advanced internet connection. The audience is present in the different locations where the action takes place or can remotely access the piece via streaming over internet.

Documentation of the project Umbrales by Kònic Thtr for ‘Arts en Viu a las Llars’. An interactive dance piece between a dancer and up to 12 users are invited to participate in the show from their home through their webcam.
Kònic Thtr actively participates in transnational R+D projects to facilitate the flow and exchange of knowledge, exploring the renewal of contemporary creation mediated by high speed networks.
