D(is)T-D(ance) is a project developed by three companies residing in Occitanie (Toulouse), Catalonia (Barcelona) and the Balear Islands (Maria de la Salut).
The project aims to explore new dramaturgies for the live arts, specifically for dance, based on the use of the Internet . We call them. tele-distributed or telematic performances. They are dance piece taking place simultaneously between severa distant places. The audience can watch them live in real life, as audience at one of the nodes, or streamed on the Internet.
