The digital redimensionned transformations of our contemporary life are explored in the telepresence piece e-Pormundos afeto.
A networked dance piece in connection between Brazil and Spain, initiated and directed by Ivani Santana in Brazil, with the collaboration of GTMDA (Workgroup in Digital Media and Arts) a transnational group that promotes projects of distributed and telematic dance, based on the development of the software platform Arthron.
GTMDA is formed by the Research Group Poètica Tecnològica a la Dansa, Bahia (Brazil), Kònic Thtr/ Kòniclab (Barcelona), i2cat Foundation, LAVID/UFPB Laboratory of Digital vídeo Applications, Paraiba (Brazil), Natalnet Laboratory- Computing and Automatization Dept of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil).
Umbrales is the Catalan node of this project, developed by Kònic Thtr in collaboration with technological partner i2cat.
