Ecosystems of the unexpected, the most avant-garde, original and poetic creations of digital culture.
ECOSS is an international event that explores the connections between digital networks and the performing arts, with the aim of becoming an engine for creative innovation and contemporary thought.
A reflexion on the concept of spatiality in the form of an artistic experience that reconsiders the awareness of our limits, “on a planet covered by an invisible but very active layer of connections between people of different cultures, ideas and ways of perceiving life, networked performing arts reflect the possibilities of Digital Networks and real composition using internet between several remote nodes.” Kònic.
ECOSS challenges conventional narratives and presents an interactive approach to the new stage languages and the expanding territories of transversality, where technology is introduced as a way to reinvent the performing arts.
An unedited digital culture, unclassifiable and visionary, that foster unexpected encounters.
The first edition of the International Festival “Ecoss. Ecosystems of the Unexpected” starts on 13 and 14 September 2018 in Fabra i Coats in Barcelona with two international days where Kònic Thtr open their internal creative work processes to anyone who wants to explore new creation methodologies through workshops, performative experimentations and open rehearsals. The event will end on 18 and 20 October 2018 at the Mercat de les Flors during the festival IDN PLUS , a tribute to Núria Font.
