A talk with Alain Baumann / Rosa Sánchez (Es), Ivan Abreu (Mx) and the Chair of Digital Education and Mediation in Dance (Ar)
The second symposium ‘Between Code and Algorithms: Programming in the Era of Artificial Intelligence’, co-organised as part of the Biennial R+D Project 11/B426 Generativity and Artificial Intelligence in Art (UNLP), Together with Zona de Risc (UNAM) and the Chair of Digital Education and Mediation in Dance Performance (UNLP), proposes a space for dialogue based on two key questions: does the future of programming belong to those who integrate it as an ally, or also to those who resist its adoption? And, if generative aesthetics is statistical and based on datasets, in what sense can we speak of machine creativity? From this perspective, it seeks to understand how these transformations reconfigure the processes of creation, work and education in computer science and multimedia design.
