Hypernatural explores our relationship with the environment through our links with colour, light, objects and their representation
The show_
The relation between individual – architecture and landscape is used by the performers to make us aware of the displaced people and those in search for shelter. The movement of the performers, in interaction with new media languages, the micro mapping of video and the sound create the illusion of changing worlds and emotional landscapes.
The multimedia languages interact and contribute to dynamically transform the stage, in a language suited for contemporary audience. The project can be understood both as an interactive audiovisual installation in which the protagonist are the visuals and sounds; as a space for performing.
The concept_
Hypernature: when manufactured nature is better than the real one a little prettier, more polished and more secure. It is undercover culture.
A transmedia piece developed within the framework of the EU Viset project, with international collaborations.
Hypernatural is taking place within the framework of the Creative Europe funded project ViSet. A modular project evolving throughout two years of development (2015/2016 ).
Since 2015 Hypernatural has evolved into several international shows and residences in which Kònic invited collectives as well as research and training centers to participate and become part of the creative process and public presentations.
